On My Own
This photo is courtesy photography by Brooklyn.
My boys and their sweet Nana are heading out EARLY tomorrow morning to go to California. They are going to ride horses, play on tractors, do farm chores, play in the dirt, hang out with The Uncle, spend time with Great Grandpa Nef, eat Great Grandma Nef's yummy food, visit with uncles and aunts and cousins. I am staying home. They will be gone for a full week. I have never been away from my children this long. I am not really okay with this, people! They are going to have the BEST time ever. This will be exactly what every boy dreams of! Food and dirt and The Uncle. Me, though? I am going to struggle with this! I have decided that I will have a project for myself every day. When I get home from work, I will complete a project. It might be small, it might seem ridiculous, but the goal here is to keep my mind off of missing my boys! When they get back, school starts! I will have an eighth grader, a sixth grader, a fifth grader, and a fourth grader. Yikes!
