Full Pool

Cooper texted me yesterday afternoon, asking if he could have friends over to swim.

Of course, Boo!

He got home from work at 5 and immediately mowed the lawns and picked up dog poo.

I got home from work and immediately ordered pizza and prepared snacks.

The kids started showing up at 6.

A lot of kids.

 A lot more kids than I thought were coming!

Bruno Mars was playing on the pool bluetooth.

Kids were splashing and laughing and having the best time.

I love being a mom.

I miss my big boys being young.

We didn't have much at all...

But we had each other.

And that was enough.

I also love being a gigi.

Getting pictures of my babes is my favorite thing!

 

Happy Birthday, Lenny!!

Happiest birthday to Kaydon's fiance, Lenny!

She is 32 today.

Kaydon comes back home on Friday.

He's had a great time with Lenny and Gael!

 

Bubba & Suzanne Married!

I am looking forward to seeing all of the photos that the multiple photographers were able to get!
I just have a few... not near enough.

But it will do for now!

Bubba and Suzanne got married on Saturday in beautiful Alta, Utah.

It was the fanciest wedding I've ever been to.

No detail was missed.

I think it was a perfect day for them.

I was so proud of Porter, Cooper, and Ryker.

They handled their responsibilities so well!

Ryker took over one of the Polaroid cameras and started posing people!!

Rian Turns 28!

Rian is 28 today!!

Rian is a fabulous mom to Aria and Hendrix.

Rian is beautiful.

She is creative, smart, and strong.

We are blessed to have her in our family!

 

Certified

Porter's certificate for welding came in the mail last week.

I bought a frame and that made it "official!!"

He started his new job on Monday.

He'll be welding at Fine Line in Centerville.

He's so excited and he'll be so, so good! 

Ryker's team lost their last game of the all-star season.

I was so proud of the way he played this year.

He really turned into a ball player and I loved watching him.

I also love that Burke is such an involved dad.

He's out there all the time.

He supports them in every way possible.

The other players look up to him also.

Onto football season we go!

 

Kaydon & Lenny Engagement

Kaydon proposed to Lenny at the temple in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on Friday.

He has another week and a half in the DR with Lenny and Gael.

We are excited for him!

Colton and Diana went with him and helped pick out a ring.

It's really beautiful!

I am reminded, as it was on his mission, that service is not great there.

He was able to get a text to us and I was able to get one back to him - telling him that we are so happy for them and love him so much!

 

Rodeo

It was rodeo time on Saturday.

Colton & Diana joined us!

Ryker brought his best buddy, Tripp, too.

It was opening night of the rodeo and it did not disappoint!

Bucking broncos, mutten bustin', team roping, and bull riding.

The drone show was super fun!

Coffee Run

Preface: Cooper washed the truck yesterday... it no longer looks like this!

Sunday morning, we loaded the dogs up and went to Daily Rise.

I got a breakfast burrito... SO GOOD.

The dogs were so polite!

They got pup cups!!!

 

Anson Gets Baptized

I was able to go to witness sweet Anson James getting baptized.

He is truly the sweetest boy.

He was so grateful to everyone who came.

He took a minute to hug everyone when he arrived.

He was so excited!

His dad baptized and confirmed him.

I was able to sit with Asher and Carrie's sister, Amy.

He is also the sweetest.

Brandon and Carrie are fantastic parents.

 

Happy Birthday, Suzanne!

It's a big month for our girl!

Today is Suzanne's birthday. 

The 26th is her wedding day!

Suzanne is the funnest, kindest, most inclusive girl.

She's beautiful inside and out.

The grand babies love her so much.

She is creative, organized, on-schedule, and loving.

We love her so much and so does our Bubba.

We had the girls for a couple hours yesterday.

Delilah got Gigi's phone and found the camera!

When I opened my phone this morning and found all of these treasures, I just giggled.

She is so magical!

We played outside in the shade with the mist stream going.

Otter Pops.

Sunshine.

Ryker and his bestie, Tripp, were living their best lives in the pool while we played!

It wore Papa and Melanie Rose right out!
