I am going to give a brief summary of my household lately:

Dishwasher broke two weeks ago - I've been doing dishes by hand.

This is not actually that big of a deal.

My kids and I rarely had a dishwasher...

Saturday, after Ryker's football camp, I began all of my meal prepping, dish washing, laundry doing.

The kitchen flooded from under the sink.

I called Burke and turned off the water thing.

Braxton came over.

The faucet was broken (some valve something or other).

So, I was carrying buckets of water from the bathtub to the kitchen sink to wash dishes.

Sunday morning, he and I went to the store to get a new faucet while the rest of the group was prepping for the pool.

Came home, he put it in, changed the pipes...

I went to turn on the hot water and there was no flow.

Zero.

Just cold water.

Back to carrying in buckets of water from the tub.

Mind you, sand is EVERYWHERE from the backyard shenanigans.

It's hot.

I have dirty dishes all over.

The whole family is there to help with the pool situation.

I'm beginning to succumb to angst!!!!!!!

But, the pool had to be done...

Biggest "helpers!!!!!"

The grandbabies thought this was just a huge sandbox made specially for them!

The grandbabes all wanted to ride in the tractor.

This thing is gynormous.

HUGE.

Did you know that you can't put secondary water into pools?

We learned that with the first pool.

Culinary water from a hose it was!

After about 36-40 hours, the pool is now full.

I told Burke I never want to do another project ever again..

EVER.

Dishwasher arrives tomorrow.

Braxton came back last night and fixed the sink situation.

I have hot and cold water in the kitchen now.

It's all going to be okay!
