End of School

Today is the last day of school for the quorum. This year went so fast. Jackson is done with elementary school. Braxton is done with fourth grade. Kaydon is done with third grade. Colton is done with second grade, and Mrs. Swinyard is done with the Jorgensen boys. I'm sure she will celebrate that! Poor woman. It's another time in our lives that is passing. And, it's the beginning of yet another chapter. The past week has been full of the boys bringing home all of their work and boxing it up to save, cleaning out tote trays, throwing away the papers that have been in their backpacks for the entire school year. It's been fun to listen to the boys memories of their school year. They have, once again, had incredible teachers who have pushed them and challenged them to be the best they can be. I am grateful for teachers who make such an impact on my children's lives. Once again, I have made a calendar for each day of the summer. I always hope that the calendar will keep them from jumping off the roof, reading books on the roof, eating lunch on the roof... you get the picture. It's this time of year, in particular, when I wish I was home more to make memories with my boys, but they know that I love them and that's really what matters.
