My word of the month for February is:
Exercise.
I have been slacking BIG TIME on exercise for a couple of months, now.
Physical exercise, emotional exercise, mental exercise, and spiritual exercise.
I have only been going to the gym about twice a week.
I have not been listening to my scriptures while on the treadmill because I haven't even been to the gym.
I have not been doing yoga and meditation as much.
It's time to get back into it and this is the perfect month to jump back in!
While at the gym yesterday, C came and walked on the treadmill next to me.
My 80 year old best friend was not there, so C filled in for him.
We laughed.
Sometimes we laughed so hard that I had to step off for a minute so I wouldn't wet my pants or fall right off!
He has an injury.
It's the first injury that he has had in all of his competition training!
I pumped him up and told him that "everything would be fine."
When I got home, I made myself some dinner and sat in my bed to watch the Super Bowl.
This was the first time, I think ever, that I've watched it by myself!
My kiddos were enjoying some Grandpa Nef time.
They were right where they should be.
And, guess what???
So was I!
