Good
morning all!
Well.. that's a wrap here in Hatillo and can I just say Hallelujah!
I don't think I've had a tougher transfer until this past one. I'll stop getting into details but all in all if comes down to much needed change!
One thing I learned however is that no matter how difficult this area is I saw tons of change for the better!
Some
of these included a woman named Rosanna not coming to church for weeks finally
made the commitment and followed through coming to church (less actives
member), I also met another less active member on Saturday for the first time
on the 12 weeks I've been here named Yajaira (she goes by Madelin) and the next
day we got her to church and the members loved seeing her come back! Marcalles
baptism and testimony was also a highlight I'll never forget!
Being with a branch president for months was a bit tough but now we have one and work is being done like new callings and other being set apart to hold the priesthood.
My new area however will be Elder Townsends area before he arrived in Los Alcorizos with me, the area is called Hato Nuevo in Las Caobas and my new companion is (I think his name is) Elder Hype (don't quote me on that)
I love and miss each of you.
Elder
Jorgensen
