Good
morning all! I couldn't help realize fhat I hadn't even mentioned why my last
email was titled the tigerajes are back, don't worry I'll explain.
I'm
a tigeraje.
I
know tons of slang like; klk gua gua gua! Dame la lu! Dame la luski! Cómo tu
ta?? Opa opa! Klk mi loco! Klk mi creisi!
Klk
- que lo que (what's up)
Sadly
all of these phrases and more make you a gangster in the capital where I've
served for 6-7 months now, however after I learned the phrases in Los
Alcarrizos which is very gangstery I left to "the south" which means
anywhere but the capital, phrases like those are kinda frowned upon and its
kinda disrespectful, but now I'm back in the capital as the biggest tigeraje
there lived! Ya tu sabes!
Anyway
crazy week this week, we're currently trying to get a couple people baptized
this next week, one of which doesn't know any Spanish and is from Haiti, so
we've been teaching her through a translator and learning Creole ourselves! We
actually had a pre-baptismal interview with her and she ended up saying yes to
on of the questions on number 4.. I'm sure only other missionaries know what
that means, basically we called the president of the mission and they talked a
lot on Repentance so there you have it!
