Monday and Tuesday were spent at the pool and the beach.
We relaxed.
And relaxed.
And relaxed some more.
It was in the high 70's and low 80's.
It was sunny.
It was humid (Mexico hair).
It was perfect.
Burke's oldest, Braxton, and his girlfriend, Suzanne, came on the trip with us.
It was so fun watching Suzanne's excitement about everything.
They are such a fun couple and we loved having them!
Funny story:
On Tuesday, this I wore my black and white swimsuit.
Burke had bought me this adorable hat and I was BURNED from Monday, so I was wearing it in the pool as well.
One of the resort managers came up to us while we were in the pool with some of our friends.
"Are you a celebrity?"
I responded, "I can be! What do I get if I am???"
She giggled.
"But are you a celebrity??"
From that point on, everyone on the trip with us would tease me about being a celebrity.
This is the front of the resort.
The ocean is behind the resort.
Sailboats, cruise ships, whales...
The view was amazing.
This guy is my favorite.
The ocean is quite choppy on the island.
Snorkeling is no bueno.
I LOVED walking the beach with Burke every day.
Aria would facetime us for our "daily adventure."
The sunsets were incredible.
Peacocks every where.
Did you know that the pretty peacocks are the males?
The females are the ugly, plain brown birds!!
The females are the ugly, plain brown birds!!
This guy was just walking through the lobby!
On one of our adventures, we saw this sea urchin just chillin' on the rocks.
I was in my happy place.
We ate at the resort on Monday night.
Tuesday night, we headed "into town" to eat at Margarita Grill with some of the group.
YUMMMMMMMMMM.
Guacamole for days!!!
