Good
morning my Belovedes!
I hope you're all okay and well.
This week wasnt ideal but lets look on the flipside
Prayer is binding and sealing. Not just to us with our Heavenly Father but also to those who pray with us. What difference does it make? Its makes all the difference. Your relationships with strengthen, you'll be more humbled, you'll be more careful as to words and actions that you use with him/her. You'll be one.
Yesterday i saw a man with his pants pulled down on the side of the road "going to the bathroom" but on the flipside his super self sufficient and doesnt need such necessities like a toilet
President Tucker has officially arrived home after serving 36 months. President Hernandez has come and has already gotten to work leaving with missionaries and attending baptisms around the mission. This Wednesday and Saturday I will have the opportunity to meet him and know him a little better. This is my 3rd President and I'm nervous for the change but optimistic of his energy that he'll bring to the mission.
We taught Jose for the first time yesterday after he had come to church for 4 weeks and he's thinking about getting baptized. He's very kind and submissive and meek
Its good to be an Elder for the church of Jesus Christ.
I Love you.
He's super young
This past week i had maybe 4 days in my own area as monday was a preparation day and Tuesday we had left to Azua only to go further out to the capital on Wednesday from which we hadnt returned to San Juan until 9:30 all because of a monthly leadership meeting we had.
The following Saturday I had to go back to Azua taking my zone to meet the new President of the mission and his wife.
While getting to listen and know these new leaders of the mission is how unbelievably young they are (we're talking late 30's) so they're super energetic and enjoyable to listen to. The biggest focus on bith meeting that we had were that the new addition of Preach my Gospel has never been more important to missions and missionaries than it is now.
They're both from Honduras but served missions in Guatemala and thats where they've been living for several years now. They have one child whose 16 and finishing up school right now and is still in Guatemala. They both and so in love with each other. Ver special examples of what couples married and sealed together should look like. I cant wait for that.
He is also my 3rd mission president. Change in mission president seems to be much harder than a change in companion as Presidents taking much longer to adjust to as you're not with them all the time.
This week we also got super blessed with members just willing to go wherever with us.
Huge plus
Elder Jorgensen
