Full house on Sunday!
We were just missing Bubba & Suzanne.
I did a taco bar - complete with homemade Cafe Rio salad dressing!
I made peach cobbler for dessert since it's Rian's birthday month and that's her favorite dessert!
It's a bit loud and crazy when we have everyone!
NONE of the babes take naps because they are all together and there is so much going on.
It's crazy-fun.
Porter has a friend named Branch.
Branch and Porter were outside working on his car.
Branch was over Saturday night, too.
Burke and I think we are semi-pro comedians.
We call Branch by several names: Sap, Bark, Limb, Tree, Trunk... you get the idea.
Sunday, I asked Branch if he had a big family.
He said, "I don't know. I've heard I do..."
I just smiled.
He said, "I've been adopted twice."
My heart broke.
He's 17 and he's been adopted twice.
Can you imagine?
No real family...
I told him that he is always welcome in our home and to be a part of our big, crazy family.
He thanked me and they went back outside.
It reminded me AGAIN how incredible our family is.
I hate the word "blessed" in this situation.
It sort of alludes to the fact that if we are blessed to have a big, crazy family then Branch is UNblessed or LESSblessed because of his situation and I don't like to think that God would only "bless" some with amazing families and others without.
Hendrix got to help Papa mow on Sunday.
He like it as much as Hudson!
Muffin turns one on Saturday!
