Reminder

It has been a dark week.

It's tough to live in a world where we are so desensitized to violence and hatred that we don't even pay attention to the fact that there was another school shooting a couple days ago.

Our kids (and grandbabies) are able to open their phone and physically watch a person be murdered.

Oh my goodness.

We memorialized 9/11 yesterday... ish.

Flags are half-staff, again... but it's unclear for which event.

You open social media and people are celebrating someone being murdered where their young children and wife were.

Oh my goodness.

It's a heavy feeling.

I wore this shirt to work today.

It's to remind me that I, personally, can still embrace feelings and thoughts and emotions that will bring light into the darkness.

It's a good reminder.
