Momming

I've been momming hard for 26 years.

It feels busier than ever.

Maybe that's because I"m old!

Cooper is in full football season.

University camps are here.

Last week, Southern Utah University had a camp at Northridge High School.

We were there for four hours.

I was grateful he wore his bright green shorts so that I knew where he was at all times.

Ryker is still in baseball season, while football conditioning begins.

While this is the last week of the regular season, we had baseball all-star tryouts on Saturday morning.

He did really well and felt good about it.

I sat my chair far away from other humans.

Some days that's best.

No one needs to hear what I'm saying - verbally or with my face.

After baseball tryouts, we went home and I spent the next six hours meal prepping for the week.

This week it was:

- Taco Bites (40)

- Chicken Tostados (48)

- Cookie Dough Protein Bites (50)

- Peanut Butter Applesauce Protein Bites (20)

- Chocolate Chip Cookies

 

Celebrating Kehlani & Delilah

Last night, we headed to Pleasant Grove to celebrate Kehlani & Delilah.

Kehlani turns five this Wednesday.

Delilah turned two last Tuesday.

They are both so magical, such blessings in our family!

Little Melanie Rose got all the snuggles, too!!

The theme was Unicorn Magic.

They had a little blow-up trampoline thing.

The girls, and all of the little neighbors who saw it, were obsessed!!

They were spoiled with lots of fun presents.

Jackson and Isis do such an incredible job as parents!!!

We love these girlies so, so, so big!!

 

In Other News

Burke and I got a good ride in on Memorial Day.

Did I already post this??

Anywho, it was a beautiful day.

We got some sushi at Sushi Monster, some shoes at Nike Outlet, and Mama got a really good ride in!

Cooper got his first job!

He's a lot tech at Ed Kenley!

I'm proud of this kid.

He's doing all the things!

 

Celebrating Colton & Diana Jorgensen

Thankfully, our friend Liz was at the reception taking pictures.

I took like two.

I was so busy being a Gigi!

Mia sent me these pictures:

We grabbed toys from the nursery for the grand babies to keep them busy and happy.

They wanted things to simple.

So underwhelming.

They wanted it to be very calm.

They made some cute centerpieces with fake flowers and their pictures.

It was perfect!

Sami (Diana's sister) just loves our family and we love her!

Melanie Rose was happy to be held by Papa or Gigi.

Papa held her except when he was chasing Delilah around the halls... like literally chasing her to keep her out of stuff!

Although it was overwhelming for our sweet Colton, they did great!

They kept it very casual.

They got some great gifts.

They are so loved!

 

Celebrating Hudson Being TWO

Mia & Braxton had a cute little party for Huds on Friday.

"2 Fast 2 Furious"

It was pretty cute.

Braxton was so proud of his invention of blowing up balloons with a vacuum cleaner.

I was pretty impressed, too!

Little Hudson was a bit overwhelmed by all of the people.

But, he is loved and it was so fun to see!
