Vacation Day Two
Day two was another travel day. We woke up and took the kids down to Fremont Street. We figured it's a better place to take them in the morning, rather than at night when more weirdos are out there... sorry if any of you are the weirdos! Then we traveled t Anaheim. It was a long drive, but the kids did great. Once we got there and got checked in to the condo, we took the kids down to the pool while Josh barbecued steaks for everyone. My dad has some severe heart problems and was especially sick on Monday. While the other adults went to the grocery store, we took care of Dad. Josh makes the best steaks! We just had a relaxing evening after a long day of traveling... Day three brought some Disneyland fun!

Vacation Day One
Our first day was so exciting for the kids. Sunday morning, at 6:00 a.m. we told the kids where we were going. The best part was their reaction. They just stared at us blankly. It was hysterical! We loaded up the kids, started the DVD players and headed to Las Vegas. When we arrived, we checked in and took the kids down to the pool at the Golden Nugget. The pool is amazing. There is an enormous aquarium right in the middle of the pool with sharks and huge fish. The kids loved it. The weather was perfect. After swimming, we met up with the family and headed to the M & M factory. We watched an adorable 3D movie there and the kids thought that was so fun! While walking through the MGM hotel to get to the M & M factory, we walked right past Evander Holyfield. I just started mumbling like I always do when I really want to talk to someone! Josh just laughs at me. Super fun first day!!

Weekend Plans!
My weekend plan include:
1. Laundry
2. Pack
3. Josh's football game
4. Pack the car
5. Arrive at Papa and Grandma's house at 7 a.m. Sunday morning for the BIG TRIP reveal to the kids.... I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!
Jackson's Orchestra Concert
Last night was Jackson's orchestra concert. He is second chair violin and this is his first year playing the violin. Um, he didn't exactly tell me about the concert until a phone call at work at 3:15, telling me that he had to be there at 4:00, but after I got over the feelings of smacking him, I really enjoyed listening to him play. Such a great kid!

Saturday's Football Game
Saturday was a beautiful day for football. The game started at 1, instead of at night. That made it nice! Josh played great. The kids played their own game of football on the lawn. Brooklyn played, too. Only, when she plays the rules are a little different :) I LOVE the picture of her with her hand over her heart for the National Anthem. I told her to put her hand on her heart... and that's exactly what I got. SO cute!
Crazeeeeee
Things seem completely crazy right now. Last night, I got home and my mom asked me what was wrong! I didn't even know what was wrong. I just knew I wanted to barf and I was so tired! I went to bed at 7:00. I woke up ready for another day, and so grateful for my mom.
Things at work are nutso. It's finals week. We are slammed in our testing center. It's also training week for faculty on our new LMS system. We are slammed with training. My boss is at home throwing up. I have food being sent to every single one of our locations. I am overwhelmed and tired.
Things at home are nutso. As school winds down, the big projects at school seem to all be due at the same time. Although doing the school projects with my kids is fun, it's also overwhelming.
Also, Josh and I are trying to prepare for our big trip next week. It's a secret from the kids, which makes it a little harder. Okay, a lot harder. Trying to pack and prepare without them knowing anything is near impossible.
Life is good, and I am so grateful for our health and strength and safety... it's just a weeeee bit crazy right now!
