The Weekend

Squish came over Saturday to hang out with Gigi for a while.

He is the happiest.

He didn't really sleep AT ALL, but Gigi got lots of smiles, lots of jabbering, lots of laughter, lots of drool, and lots of snuggles!

He's a little cheeser!

Those cheeks get kissed constantly!!

Rian and Tyler came over Sunday.

I was in bed all of Sunday, but I got out the sugar cookies and royal frosting that Braxton and Mia brought over Saturday and let Aria go at it!

She had a great time!

Hendrix took a little sleep while Big Sis did sugar cookieing!

I always tell my grandbabies that messy things are just us exploring our world and aren't a big deal!

She thought that was awesome when she was able to lick the frosting off her arm!

 

Aria's Birthday Party

Rian's mom hosted a birthday party for Aria last night.

She will be six on Thanksgiving.

Aria's nana goes all out and is a wonderful party hostess.

It was a princess theme because she's a princess.

Hendrix was happy to see Gigi.

Ryker was happy there was food.

Per usual.

And that Bubba was there!

Papa got baby time, too.

Suzanne is always Aria's favorite human.

Cooper has been sick this week and was unable to come.

She was spoiled as always!

We love Monkey so much and are excited to see her be the bestest six year old ever!!

 

These Beauties

We got to see our girlies yesterday!!

Isis had her doctor appointment, and everything is looking miraculously better!

So, we got the girls for a few hours.

Oh, my heart!

Delilah is such a cheeser right now.

She has so much character and never stops chattering and blowing bubbles with her mouth.

June Bug still loves her nap cuddles with Papa.

Papa doesn't mind them either.

But look at this!

Gigi got her to snuggle and go to sleep, too!!

I am totally journaling it because it's rare that she'll do this with me!

Kehlani asked me to wear the fireman hat while she was Mario.

I'm all in with this girl!!!!

She's a pretty big cheeser, too!

I just love her.

She wanted to play with all of her toys and as soon as Uncle Cooper got home, she was gone! 
It's all about the uncles!

I tried to feed June Bug bananas.

She spit them out.

At me.

On me.

Spit them back out at me!!!

My goodness, we love them!

 

I'm SO Big!

I got my desk all fixed up so that I can raise it to stand and lower it to sit.

It's been a bit of a chaotic mess getting it done, but I'm so grateful!

It makes such a difference to be able to stand.

We sit NINE hours a day.

That wears on a person.

It's so nice to be so big!

Mia sent me these pictures of Squish yesterday doing some tummy time.

Yes, yes I do kiss his cheeks so much that Burke has been concerned that they might get red.

 

My Time Off

I decided last minute to take some time off last week.

It's been a tough go at work.

I've been by myself a lot and it's taken a toll.

I made an executive decision to take Thursday off, and Friday was a holiday day.

Thursday, I hung out with this handsome guy.

Gosh I like him a lot.

We went to breakfast at Chris's Cafe (our favorite).

We went and got pedicures.

Kim LOVES Burke.

We went to Sam's Club!

We went to the mall to get him a belt.

I loved every minute of it.

I feel like we never have time just the two of us. It was SO nice to have time with him, just us.

Friday, I had Squish.

He has so much personality!

We visited Papa at work.

Took a little nap.

Had snuggles.

Isis is so good to send me pictures of the girls!
I miss them SO much!

I hate having them live so far away, but I know it's best for them.

We get them on Wednesday and I can't wait!

Yesterday I was able to take Aria on a Gigi date.

I took her to the bookstore.

She loved it!

It's important to me that I do one-on-one time with the grandbabies when I can.

Hendrix was so smiley with Gigi yesterday.

He is starting to jabber and laugh and show so much personality!

I'm back at work today and full of gratitude!
