He's Growing

I have my first event of the year next Sunday!!
It's in Ogden.
About 40 vendors and Farmasi by Heidi Rae will be one of them.
I am pretty excited to kick off this vendor event year!

Ryker is the baby.
In my mind, at least.
He's eleven now.
Growing.
Wanting to be with friends more.
Cuddling with me less.
Thinks he's funny all the time.
He's up to my eyes now.

I remember my big boys growing up and feeling like I missed a lot while working a lot of jobs.
I don't want to miss him growing.

Burke still send me pictures every morning of Squirt walking to school.
SO thankful for this life I get to live.

Scavenging

I decided to do a Stromboli & Scavenger Hunt theme for our family dinner on Sunday.
I have never made stromboli, but found what seem like pretty easy recipes on Pinterest, so we are going to try it!
I also found a recipe for the Pizza Factory's spiral breadsticks.
I am working up the courage to give it a shot!!

I made this little scavenger hunt card.
The weather is supposed to hang in there for us on Sunday, so we'll send the troops out in search of fun stuff!

Also, the motorcycle ride happened and was amazing.
We went to Chris's Cafe for lunch/breakfast and enjoyed the Harley!!

It's Here

We have some good weather coming our way!
I called Burke yesterday and told him that it's basically motorcycle riding weather!
He's got the bike charged up.
Hopefully we'll get a good ride in today since it's our half-days!!!

Playing Catch

After snowing on Saturday - again - a few of us got some catch in on Sunday.
Rian and Cooper chose the indoors version of balloon catch.
Burke and Ryker took it outside with the actual baseball and mitt form of catch.
Ryker has a new baseball mitt (which is gorgeous) and they were breaking that in.
Stella likes to think she is part of that catch, too.

Monday morning was back to the grind.
Spring Break is over.
Kids back to school.
And our neighborhood watch program back at work, AKA Stella, Kaya, and Gus!

You know Ryker is running late when Colton and MayMay have to come get him for school.

Showering Baby M

Saturday was all about showering Jackson and Isis's Baby M.
She is scheduled to be here, via c-section, on May 25th.
It was held in Pleasant Grove, in the leasing office of their apartments.

Diana is the perfect playmate for Kehlani!!!
She is so good with her!
And she is so good for Colton, too.

Papa works on Saturdays.
This is good for Gigi...
Delilah lets me hold her!!

Isis's mom always does such a great job with parties and get-togethers.
She is amazing.

Hudson was pretty enthralled with the balloons.

These two are so funny together.
They like to swipe at each other, follow each other around, do what the other is doing...

And the two babies are SO impressed with all things Kehlani!!

Isis's sister, Jasmine, does such fun games.
Kaydon and Colton did an ice cube game.
No thanks!

Oh, these babies of ours.

Braxton and Mia picked me up to drive down there since I had a pretty rough post-stroke episode on Friday.
I got to sit in the back with Squish.
He is just the funnest!

Permitting

Coop tested twice.
Passed the second time.
And has his learner's permit!
Eight down, one to go!
Ryker won't be for a few years.

Cooper is definitely our child who will not ask to go driving.
He's a bit more cautious when it comes to things like this.
Burke does the bigger roads, busier streets...
I don't go with them when Burke is doing it because he gives me anxiety.

I do the neighborhood driving, the turning practice in parking lots and such!
We informed Kaydon last night that he's the other driver in the house over 18 years old, so he's in on the gig also!!!!

Deep Breath

I have needed a bit of a break.
I've known it.
But, have just kept going.
My sleep has not been good for weeks now.
Working on that.
However, in the meantime I have a job, a fortune, a family, a home, all the things.

Yesterday, Burke told me he was taking Ryker with him to take Coop to speed and agility.
They walked out the front door and I took a deep breath.
My home was light. The sun was shining. I had opened the windows and could hear the wind chime.
I turned baseball on the tv.
I prepared dinner.
I even weeded my front flower bed.
I just took a deep breath.
