One More Big Sleep

One more big sleep and these two will be joined by their little sister!
Isis is scheduled to have her c-section tomorrow at noon.
She is SOOOOO ready to be done with this pregnancy!
She's having her tubes tied, too, so she really is done.
It's too bad because they sure make cute babes!

Delilah turns one on the 3rd.
She's a hoooooot!!

Kehlani turns four on the 11th.
She is definitely a toddler!!

Just love them to pieces!

Graduation

Miss Aria Jane graduated from Kindergarten yesterday.
She has loved going to school.
She has also loved losing her teeth!!
Aria is sassy, feisty, smart, sensitive, loving, and beautiful.

Every picture she takes has to be a pose of some kind!

Today is the last day of school for Ryker.
Fifth grade is officially done for the kids in this family...
Now for the grandbabies!
It's also the last day of morning pictures from Burke of the off-to-school kind!

I'm Backish

This mama has been dooooowwwwwnnn.
I am back at work this morning.
It's my half-day and you better believe I'm leaving at noon.
I'm not sure my brain could do more than that.
I have gotten out of bed very, very little since Sunday night.
But, I'm here.
And grateful.

I have makeup on and almost a straight smile.

In other news:
Colton and Diana are LOVING Southern California.
They've been Disneylanding it every day.
They even got to go with Uncle Logan and Uncle Skipper.
They are at Sea World today!

Burke took me on a proper date Saturday!!
We hopped on the Harley and went to get pedicures and I got my nails done.
Then to Roadhouse for dinner!
It was perfect!
I'm the luckiest.

My event on Sunday went so good.
This little Squish came to see me and it was the actual best!!

Home

Porterman is home.
Thank you for your prayers and well wishes!
He's home and we are so grateful.
He will continue to have lots of outpatient follow-up appointments, but we can do that!

In other news, Coop received the Sportsmanship Certificate for the Track Season.
My dad always, always told him baseball players that First Place is great, but if his teams ever left tournaments without the Sportsmanship trophy, they had failed.
I am so proud of him!

Girl Time

I had the girlies for a few hours yesterday.
Uncle Porter being in the hospital is affecting everyone.
Kehlani doesn't understand why she's seen Gigi twice in four days, but not Papa.
"I miss Papa so much, Gigi."
I know, Baby Girl.

In other news, Delilah LOVES being with Gigi when she isn't going to Papa all the time!
They are so busy!
Poor Isis is so ready to have this baby.
The doctor is good with her having the baby any time.
She is scheduled for the c-section on the 25th.

Lilah is so busy.
Crawls everywhere.
Jabbers and Jabbers.
Laughs at herself.
LOVES the dogs being all over her!

Kehlani is so smart.
She is so tender.
She is struggling lately with her attitude, just needing so much attention.
We are all working on it!
Her mommy and daddy are the actual best.

We walked Uncle Ryker down to his baseball practice since Gigi had no car seats.
Then back.
Ate yogurt.
Danced to music.
Watched "Spirit."

Porter Update

Cooper, Ryker, and I headed to Primary's on Sunday to have a Mother's Day lunch at the cafeteria!
It was good for them to see their brother and their dad!!
I think it was good for Porter to see them, too.
Burke got him up for a walk and outside to the porch.
I think it boosted the spirits of everyone!
Cancer was ruled out on Saturday, which was a blessing.
They started a very strong IV steroid regimen on Saturday.
He got a does Saturday, Sunday and Monday to see if the steroid would decrease the inflammation enough to make that blockage go away without surgery.

It worked!
Porterman got his NG tube out yesterday and started some liquids.
After drinking a contrast shake, he had major diarrhea yesterday morning!
This mama has never been so excited about diarrhea!!!

He has been sending me Instagram reel after reel about food and recipes and all the yummy things he wants once he gets home.
The hope is that as they increase what he can take by mouth, the blockage will not reappear and he will be able to come home this week!

They are leaning more towards bowel disease.
This is a blessing, as the alternatives were far worse.
Crohns or Irritable Bowel Disease are the two they are leaning toward right now.
Prayers that he is home soon!

Mom's Day

Burke was able to come home Friday night for a few minutes.
The boys asked him to watch a movie with them.
So, licorice ice cream and a movie it was.

On Saturday, Burke had scheduled a massage for me.
I went and did that and then ran up to the hospital for a bit to see Porter and be with Burke for a few minutes.
I went home and the boys and I got beds changed, the yard work done, laundry put away, and dinner done.
Then we went to Iceberg for shakes.

This one is always pretty attached, but has been a bit more attached than usual.
He ended up sleeping with me on Saturday night and it's fine.
Whatever the kids need during this time is what they're going to get.

Rian brought the babes on Thursday to give me a beautiful necklace.

It has a footprint, birthstone, and the names of all six of my grandbabies.
It's beautiful.
It's my everything.

Kaydon spoke in Church on Sunday.
Jackson, Isis, and the girls drove up to be there with me.
Isis is SO ready to give birth.
Delilah is such a cheeser!!
Kehlani was not having it that Papa was not there.
It was an issue.

NOT HAVING IT.
I told her to smile and this is what I got.

The girlies painted this stepping stones for me.
I can't even!!!

I am so grateful to be a mama.
A bonus mama.
A gigi.
