Alone Time

I made a last minute decision on Friday to take myself to the Bee's double-header.
It started at 3:30.
After dropping Colton off at work, I drove down to Salt Lake.
The first game was pretty empty, so I headed to the shade just to the left of home plate.
I had my score cards and my drink and I was in my happy place.

The second game got pretty packed, but no one came to claim their shady seats, so I stayed where I was!
I knew I'd be leaving early since there were fireworks, but when it got to be a bit much with people and noise, I headed out in the fifth inning.

My boys have never loved me being alone.
They've never loved me eating alone or shopping alone.
When I told them I was going down to the game by myself, they were less than thrilled.
I've never minded going places alone.
Actually, I kind of like it.
And sitting at the ball park with my score card in hand - Heaven!
