Missionary Moment - Puerto Rico San Juan & Dominican Republic Santiago West Mission

Good Morning all! I very much, like always, hope your doing well, and had a great week!!

Starring off hot with transfer news! Transfer btw are every 6 weeks and fly by so fast I'm in awe that it's May already! What!?! But this past Transfer was the first time I had completed an entire Transfer out in full without having to travel or coming out in the middle of the Transfer and It still felt pretty quick as I push and push for the work out here in the carribean to flourish.

Unfortunately Elder Townsend had left after 2 transfers together and I was given Elder Knight whose on his last 2 transfers of his mission and is still willing to keep up with me as I still continue to learn even after hitting 6 MONTHS yesterday! But Elder Knight is a great missionary but still is willing to get better even after all the fime he has had learning in the field which gives me hope that I won't be perfect in their language even 22 months out.

When he got here to the area I did my best to show him what kind of missionary I was so I set him to the ropes and he's loving it and with all the work that I put us to we're both exhausted at the end of our days and am both so grateful it's p day!

From the time Elder Knight hot here on Wednesday to now I have never taught L2 (the Plan of Salvation) so much! With all the people we teach and families that we find here I used to think that teaching fue planning planning Salvation was the hardest to teach but now it for sure brings me more joy and helps with spanish a ton as I practice speaking in moth past tense, future tense, and now experimenting Subjunctive which doesn't exist in english but I'm finding it easy to use, just a matter of triggers and the different words specifically used for them, depending on the verb.

But as I teach the plan of salvation I have grown to appreciate the plan so much more in my life as our goal and pur Heavenly Father's goal is for each of us to return to him. Simple right? Well, as it turns out, it is pretty simple, I has become a true or false question to each of us asking if you want to live with your family forever. As it turns out usually always people tell us yes. And my personal answer to that exaxtly what my MTC teacher told me which was that Heaven is not Heaven without my Family. And that is an eternal true I hold very dear to my heart, which is Heaven is not Heaven without my Brothers, Sisters, their children, Mother, Father, and each and every other members that I've been so blessed to be a member of.

This week alone I had the privilege to look to children in their eyes and tell them without lie that they will see there families again. (13 year old girl that she would see her Dad) (and 10 years old boy that he would see his Mommy again) it is true. It was true when I told them, and it's true now and all throughout eternity. Families can and will be together forever as we follow the gospel of Jesus Christ and number ourselves with His church with his given authority albe to baptise and bring us together in unity and happiness in temples.

I love you all. That love for you all keeps me put here because I know others can experience that love too.

Till next time!

Elder Jorgensen out
