Good morning all!
Lots happened this week so I'll get us started off..
First the temple trip we had, we went Thursday super early and our session was set to start at 9 o clock but little did we know that our session included a few general authorities including Brad Wilcox, The Caribbean area president and both his counselors and some other seventy that was the 1st councelor in something.. I definitely shook Brad Wilcoxs' hand like 3 times... very proud.
But this week was mostly packed of planning and preparing for our baptism on Saturday but unfortunately after getting everything planned we get a text early Saturday morning saying that a family member of the family that was supposed to get baptized in a few hours had died.. it is extremely safe to say that in that moment so did I.
Yesenia and Yeisi were found and taught when I first got here to Hato Nuevo and I've been helping, teaching, and preparing them ever since now 6 months later I'm going to miss her baptism because I can't be here next week... yeah you read right I'm leaving to another area and some other Elder will see their baptism 😑
As for me I'm off to an area called San Juan to be Zone Leader with Elder Jackson, a missionary I already know because he was my zone leader here in this zone for a couple transfers so I'm pretty excited to be with him!
That's about it for this week... being in one area for 6 months makes you kinda miss home a little more because of how used to things you become so I'm excited for this change to get me refocused and back to work. I'm ready for what's been prepared for me by the Lord in San Juan.
I love you all!! Be safe and be happy!
Elder Jorgensen
