Eagle

Kaydon has been collecting gently used and new toys, puzzles, coloring books & wrapping paper for his Eagle Scout Project.
Our living room has been plum full of donations.
Our ward is AMAZING.
There has been NO SHORTAGE of donations.
And, we have SO much wrapping paper.
My heart has been so full of gratitude for this ward, and all the members, who support my boys in every single aspect.
The leaders that my boys have are outstanding, committed, devoted and so good to my babes.
Last night, there was an activity to wrap all of these donations.
Kaydon said that other than three kids, the rest were leaders.
The girls had their Young Women in Excellence.
When they were done, some of them came over and helped.
At 9 pm last night, they were able to take all of these donations to the new Layton IHC Hospital.
Kaydon said they were so, so thankful.

I was so excited for KK to do this project.
He knows all to well what it's like to be in the hospital on holidays.
He and I spent two Christmas's at Primary Children's when he was an infant and a toddler.
I love that he chose a project to bless children in the hospital over the holidays.
No child, and no parent, wants to spend one day in the hospital - let alone the holidays.
I pray that the kiddos and their parents will feel a bit of Heaven when they open these gifts.

Kaydon just needs to get his interviews done, and his Court of Honor will be scheduled in the upcoming weeks.
So proud of this Buddha!
