Been a couple of weeks, I hope everyone is doing awesome! We are doing great down here! Nothing really new going on, we just keep on working a ton! Let's see, we have been having soccer games every week against whoever wants to take a shot at it. So we had one "gentleman" which we will call him because he definitely was the opposite! We had a good time for about 15 minutes, I wasn't really sure how the game was going to go because it started off with this guy just giving me a pretty good elbow to the stomach. So I took in mind how the guy plays, we keep on going, pushes one of our counselors to the ground during a juggle and then continues to give me some mini punches throughout the game. Finally the counselor called him out on it and he ended up leaving. I think he is coming back for more on Wednesday so I'll keep in touch!
Let's see what else is happening. We have some conferences and meetings this week and they asked us what we would like to do for them. Because I'm a district leader they asked me what we should do and we all decided on a huge game of dodgeball! OHHHH I LOVE ME SOME DODGEBALL! So I'll be looking forward to that. Other than that, that's about it.
I wanted to quickly share my testimony again to you all. I had the opportunity to share my testimony and a little message yesterday at church and I wanted to share a little bit of what I talked about. We all have a wonderful opportunity this beautiful christmas season to help share the joy and love that has been shared with us. We have a responsibility to help others feel the same comfort and warmth that has been given us. I, as a missionary, work every day to help provide people with this warmth but all of you are able to do this. Wherever you are, at any time, in any given moment. Light the World is an initiative that is going on right now and it is really quite beautiful. I invite all of you to visit the website and to look at the calendar of service to help give ideas of what YOU can do to help others this holiday season. I know with all my heart that this is the true Church of God on the earth. I am not perfect, and I never will be in this life. I have made many mistakes and continue to make mistakes every day. I love that I have the ability to repent of my past and to be made whole and I am grateful for my Heavenly Father and his mercy. I love all of you and I hope that you all have a wonderful and safe week! I seal these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
