Missionary Moment - Puerto Rico San Juan Mission & Dominican Republic Santiago West Mission

Como le va todos?! How are you all?? I'm super grateful for all of your emails, so please please keep them coming!

Starting off this week has for sure had some ups and downs. Me and my companion were able to put another soul on date and I'm getting so excited to see him progress. Everyday is a grind from the time we wake up to when we need to be in bed by 10:30.

There are so many people with so much complexity that I've been called with my companion to bring comfort to, it's amazing to see the Gospel and the Holy Ghost bless them but It can be taxes on us mentally, physically, spiritually. And I can testify to you all now that it's been for my good, I know that everyday I compete my efforts my testimony grows and is strengthened to then go and do the Lord's work again the next day.

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I can't belive it's already 2022, I don't know why but I never really saw that coming! People celebrate like crazies here in Puerto Rico, basically from October to February is there time to come out and celebrate anything they can, Christmas and New Years were pretty crazy on there own shown through tons of fire works ( or bullets ) honestly you can never really tell, but here in a couple days they celebrate 3 kings day which really just celebrate the Wiseman that came to Jesus. I'm actually very hyped to see what they come up with then because this this there biggest holiday and you would think they lit all kf the fireworks already!

Transfers and coming up here in about a week and me and my companion are working super hard everyday to bring more and more unto Christ, many of them are ready and some are not, but that's okay, I would rather they came to partake whether than came and saw. Speaking of Transfers I had my first exchange with Elder Hawkins who has been out for around 5 months and he has such a sacred testimony and is really good at basketball! Figures cause he's 6'10". I swear Heavenly Father puts me with people only to make me feel tiny hahaha! I'm just kidding, I was super grateful to have had that opportunity to teach and share the Gospel with him. Being his first transfer as well we absolutely crushed it!

However,  it was nice to be with another missionary I was so grateful to get back with Elder Nelson, when we talk and teach together I feel completely unstoppable,  he says that we'll stay together for the transfer but I'm not too sure what to expect.  Expectations are such a waist of time, it's nice to have goals but lame for Expectations.

Finally, me and Elder Nelson were called to a man that lost his wife about 4 days ago and has a son who has autism continually ask when his mother is coming home. This was very hard for me to try and give his family comfort. But I tell you all this to ask that you all pray for this family. The scripture Mathew 4:4 "But he answered and said, Itis written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." I don't think this prayer pertains to being tempted alone, but also that no one in life should do it all alone, with the companionship of the Holy Ghost and families at our helm is the best form of unity there is.

I love you all so very much and am so grateful for each kf your prayers that i know of and feel every hour of my time out here. I don't have word yet on the DR but my president thinks that I'll be leaving in a few transfers and I've definitely learned to trust both him and my companion.

By the way those pictures are real :)
