Last night after work, I had to run to the mall.
If you know me, you know that I'd rather do about 1,000 other things.
Shopping is not my thing.
Large crowds, unless it's at a baseball or football game, are not my thing.
I went to pay for the one thing that I needed to get and the very nice owner of the store said, "So, just out doing some last minute shopping, huh?"
I responded with, "I'd rather be pushed off a ledge than be here."
He just laughed and laughed.
"Not joking, sir. This is one of my worst nightmares."
My boys LOVE shopping.
They love the whole crazy Black Friday thing.
They love going to the mall and "just looking."
They love all of it.
Count me out!
In other news, we have had a rough week at work so far and it's only Wednesday.
Both Monday and Tuesday saw a lot of police activity at our building.
Tuesday also saw a man who didn't feel like wearing ANY of his clothing in 20 degree weather doing ninja jumps over his bicycle handle bars over and over and over and over again.
When asked if I was interested in pressing lewdness charges, I told the very nice officers that I didn't want him in trouble, I just wanted him to be warm and safe.
Apparently I was the only one between the man and I who wanted that for him.
Tally ho.
