This
email will be the last until next week just right after Christmas so I wish you
all a very merry Christmas now so it won't suck in a week when Christmas is
over and no one really wants to talk about haha
These
last two weeks have been a little frustrating ti tell the truth, nothing
extraordinarily horrible but I things could've definitely been better.
My
biggest highlights were a few of the treasures that you usually find on a
mission, I've now read the Book of mormon 3 times all the way through and
preach my gospel through again to help me be a better missionary but I've also
had the wonderful privilege of doing several Baptismal interviews with invites
the spirit like nothing else can. I've been so blessed to to be apart of each
of these baptisms! Watching them truly brings joy into my heart and gladness to
my soul, it also gives me great worry for those who've been lost because they
continually choose not to accept what's being taught. It always being my center
of focus on many of you.
I
want to invite each of you to rewatch or reread talks given my our Prophet
Russell M. Nelson whose many recent talks are spoken on the need to focus
ourselves on and in the temple, how God is the only infinite and eternal source
of truth, and the importance of families who, with them, we may be
exalted.
As
much as many of you think, these things are important. They do exist and it IS
something we need to be doing to have a fullness of joy and peace in our lives.
I speak with a very small number in comparison to the multitudes I speak with
daily who tell me their lives have changed and there is no joy greater than
this. The other half of that small number can't seem to listen very well not
just to what we tell them or the the spirit testifying that they're
truth.
My
friends, God is the only source of truth. He lives and loves us. The gospel of
Jesus Christ has been restored. Families can be together forever but what we
need to decide is if any of you are willing to do what God asks to be able to
say my family will be together forever.
I
love you all very much and hope you find an inkling of join this Christmas
week.
