Good
morning all!
Hope
all is well! I love you
As a
leader for an entire zone we're not in our own area as much as junior
companions would be. For example this week had had left to the capital to
recieve more instruction as to where the Lord would have his work go. So this
week we didn't have too much time is this area as we would like to have, on top
of that its been raining for weeks now and its been extra lame this week as the
whole world disappears when they get a little wet
So
the point of all that was that by the end of church yesterday we only had 2 of
our friends at church and 4 of our 18 new converts at church.
First
those guys are homies and elect.
Second,
as a mission we have specific standards of excellence that we have to help us
work as hard as we can and continue reaping what the Lord has promised,
"the field is white, already ti harvest". On top of the lack of
attendance we had, i had also realized that of the standard of finding 14 new
people for each companionship, we only had 4. And it also just happens to be
the one indicator of success that is measured completely of our personal
efforts.
Im
saying that we had chosen to not find at least 2 new people everyday. And then
I remembered that we had found like 26 people last week, so I thought that it
wasn't a huge deal if we didn't get that 14 for the week.
But...
that was the standard, we were the example, it wasn't that hard to find those
people.
There
are standards that are given to each of us. Standards that we should live by.
Standards we should be happy to follow as we live my law and commandments our
Father in Heaven has charged us with. These standards will bless us and give us
all that He has.
Yesterday
we decided to go out and just talk to everybody for about an hour and found
about 15 people. Easy. These people are His children and have been waiting a
very long time to hear what we have.
Talk
to the missionaries, they can help!!
Shout
out to my awesome sisters who have both given birth! Braxton and Mia have
welcomed Hudson Dean Jorgensen! Jackson and Isis have welcomed Dalilah June
Jorgensen!

We
died.
Monday
and Tuesday were pretty normal. It was Wednesday that started the week off a
little hairy as we had gone into a greengo infirmary in the middle of absolute
no where for an emergency surgery on my companions foot as he had an operation
done incorrectly in another part of the mission a few months back. If thats
that a hot enough start for you im still wondering why there were white people
in the middle of nowhere besides us
Then
thursday comes around and we're called 2 hours down to one of the hottest areas
in the mission (which also just happens to be the same place where that
operation was done incorrectly) and yours truly just... didnt drink water...
for the entire day until we got home 9 hours later.
Winner
So
yeah headache when we arrived but we had a great night of lessons that
day!
Then
it happened. About 3am and im checking my temperature but its saying im healthy
but no.. i was not.
I
got out of bed that friday morning with intense pain in my back, neck, stomach,
and headache.... what was it? I dont have a whole lot of information for you. I
dont know but i thought my life was over. Unfortunately my companion had it a
little worse so it was the first time in my mission that i hadnt left the house
one single time due to sickness.
The
next day it was a little better but being Saturday it was super important that
we remind all our friends about church the following day.. but.. we were so
gone
It
wasnt till about 6 where we head out walking slowly but surely with smiles on
our faces because quite honestly we felt happy to be living still
And
yeah... yesterday but much better and we had a great day with a super young
family come to church (Mom and her 4 little children)
Sooo
"What have..you...against being baptized in the name of the
Lord?"
The
church of Jesus Christ is true
I
love you
