Transfer
news came in on Wednesday night and ill be staying with serveral new
missionaries to our zone which is pretty cool.
Sad
that I wont be able to say goodbye to Elder Townsend as he'll be finishing
pretty far from me but I'll make sure to watch all of his solos as part of BYU
vocal point!
Although
I'll be staying here in San Juan now going on 6-7 months I had already decided
to make new goals pertaining to where I want to see the area go in the time I
have left. I mostly includes a stronger Branch. Please pray that the members
may know how to improve there services to the church.
Elder
Goldfarb sprained his ancle this past Saturday while running and so we had
stayed home the entire day. This gave me opportunity to study even more, for
some reason I decided to read the Saints books in Spanish out loud haha idk
why.
But
while reading I'm once again in awe (I've read the 3 books before) of the
Prophet Joseph Smith. A man so quick to be humble and completely submissive to
Heavenly Father. So compliant to recieve a Loving Fathers rebuke. Someone who
gave up everything he had for the Kingdom of God. Without him I would not be
here. He was a very special instrument in the Lord's hands. Having lost 4
children, suffered rejection, persecution, and suffered being tared and
feathered alongside his friend Sydney.
I
know he was a prophet called of God. Anybody who says otherwise hasn't had the
decency to read the book of Mormon and take a closer look at his life nor have
ever asked God sincerely if it's true.
Well
I love you.
Elder
Jorgensen
