Full Moon

Yesterday morning was a no good very hard morning.
We had no Diet Coke at home.
I figured I'd run into 7-11 on my way to work.
It was blocked off.
I texted Xavier to stop and get me a 44 ounce on his way in to the office.
He didn't get the message.
I went through everyone's office and their mini fridges.
Literally.
Nothing.
I went out to the shop and went through coolers.
Nothing.
This popped up on my memories and I rolled my eyes.
I (we) were desperate.

Caroline came in clutch.
She left her desk and went and got a 12-pack.
EVERYone was thanking her.
I'm fully aware that I have a problem.

People were so brutal yesterday.
Just rotten.
SO mean and harsh and condescending.
Terrible.
Xavier looked it up - full moon.
And a big full moon at that.
It's a real freaking thing.
Somehow the full moon has an effect on people and it's so awful.

When I finally got home last night and got Cooper's homework done with him and checked on Ryker at football practice, I looked out our back window.
God had painted the sky.
Again.
Sunsets are my jam.
I adore them.
They are such a comfort to me...
Like, you've done your best. Or maybe you haven't. But either way, you never have to do this day again.
Tomorrow is another day.
I find SO much peace in sunsets.
