This
place is super hot
Transfers
came early and I was separated from my beloved Argentinian and placed with a
Dominican from the North in Santiago and put into the zone of Barahona (Zone of
beaches) in an area farthest away from the water but still in the same zone...
pretty unfortunate
Vicente
Noble is much like San Juan in that I have a small place to work but big enougj
to keep me busy all the time... when I got here i realized immediately that i
was whitewashing the area. Normally one Elder leaves and another stays to teach
the area but they took out both elders and we both are completely new to this
place and figuring it out as we go.
Its
much hotter here and really quite uncomfortable. To be so very honest, i miss
San Juan so much. Ive already considered building a home there when my mission
is completed... really considered it..
People
here are also quite different.. almost completely different as they speak and
talk to each other differently than they would in San Juan and there are a lot
more inconsiderate people with a lot less integrity. The whole town knowns and
has most likely spoken to missionaries before however when we invite them ti do
something like come to the chapel they always give us a hard "yes! Ill be
there"... even members make that same jesture but come Sunday and its
wasn't looking to hot.
I
feel like im in Hatillo again but this time around with water and power in our
house haha but the resemblence comes from the fact that our branch president is
completely off the books... just like the one in Hatillo our Branch President
has kinda just left... no one knows where he is..
All
in all this is the best situation for me as i wrap up my mission here.. this is
probably my last area until I come home then back to San Juan lol
Its
good to be a missionary :)
I
love you!
Elder
Jorgensen
