Saturday was the annual Robb Halloween Party and Sleepover. Jackson, Kaydon and Colton headed down to Sandy on Saturday morning for the fun. Braxton was in Steamboat Springs with Cam's family for Fall Break.
They headed down to Thanksgiving Point to enjoy Cornbelly's and the mazes and fun. The boys had a great time. Then they headed back to Papa and Grandma's house for sleepovers. I love that even though my boys are growing and are getting a little too big for Halloween parties, they love to go and spend time with their grandparents and cousins. It's great memories for them and I am so grateful that we live close enough so that they can enjoy it! They love their grandparents and they love their cousins!

Kaydon's One-on-One
Once a month, Papa and Grandma take a grandchild (they have six) on a one-on-one. It was Kaydon's turn in February. Kaydon ended up spending about 12 hours with them. He had lunch, went to a movie, and a BYU basketball game. He also got to play with their dog, Hailey, who loves him!
I think it's so, so great that my kids get to spend time with their four grandparents regularly. I always felt a little jipped that I couldn't spend a lot of time with my Grandma and Grandpa Robb because they lived 20 hours away. I am so thankful that I was able to spend a little more time with them as I grew older.

It's an Honor
Last night, family came together for Kaydon's ordination to the office of a Teacher in the Aaronic Priesthood. Kaydon had asked that my grandpa perform the ordination. Last night was the night that seemed to work. Grandma and Grandpa drove up from California and we all met at our chapel last night.
In the circle stood Grandpa, Papa, Pops, Uncle Brandon, Bishop Krum, Don Mendenhall (a previous YM advisor), and Jackson. In the surrounding chairs sat Nana, Grandma, Grandma Nef, Aunt Carrie, Mommy Martha, Baby Brooklyn, Braxton, Colton, and me. It was a beautiful ordination and blessing. To see my Jackson standing in that circle with his hand on his brother's head was priceless.
After the ordination, our sweet bishop said a few words. My grandpa spoke to Kaydon directly. Brother Mendenhall said some things that were beautiful. Then, Bishop asked me to speak. Through tears, I simply said, "I am honored to be their mom." "I am honored to be their mama. Boys, you are to live up to the Priesthood that you hold. You are to honor it. You have not had good examples in our home, but as you look around this room, you can see that you have all of the examples that you need. We need the Priesthood in our home and each of you holds it. Your mama needs the Priesthood, so you are to live it and honor it."
Look at these boys. Look at them. I am oh, so good.

Papa and Grandma Holiday Sleepovers
Friday night, Josh and I drove the kiddos down to Papa and Grandma's house. They have annual holiday sleepovers with the grandkids. Friday night, they took the kids down to Thanksgiving Point to see the lights and the reindeer. Saturday, they got to go see a movie and meet Santa. It's a fun tradition, and one that the kids look forward to - even the teenagers!!

Robb Family Barbeque
Last weekend, we had a super fun barbeque at Papa and Grandma's house! Josh grilled up some amazing food and we were surrounded by family. Just Uncle Ryan and Brooklyn were missing. Love this family of mine!

One-on-ones
My parents take each grandchild on a one-on-one each month. It was Kaydon's turn on Saturday. He has been SO excited, and has had it all planned out for quite some time. The grandchild gets to choose where they go. It has to be an activity... like, they don't get to go to the toy store to pick out a toy. That's not an activity! They get to eat somewhere and do an activity. Kaydon chose to go to Antelope Island, and since it's pretty much our backyard, it was perfect! Plus, Grandma and Papa had never been there!
