BiRtHdAy Weekend!

These pictures are all out of order.
It's fine.
It was my birthday weekend and I will decide.
You guys!
The only thing that could have made it better would have been to actually get to hug my Kaydon!

Friday, I worked out.
I slept in.
I ate lots of frozen grapes.
Then, Burke took me on a shopping spree.
This is SUPER uncomfortable for me.
As you know, I trade clothes in for new used clothes.
Shopping makes me so uncomfortable.
The price tags.
The stress.
The guilt.
He was determined that we were going to do this.
So, we did this.
He spoiled me.
I was about in tears.
But he spoiled me.
We met up with Braxton and Mia at the mall, then had dinner with them at Texas Roadhouse.
Perfect night.

Saturday, I worked out then took Cooper to his baseball all-star tryouts.
He rocked it.
I was stunned to see him tryout for pitcher.
He did SO good.
So, that night Burke and I showed him how to pitch a two seam and four seam fastball, as well as the changeup and the circle changeup.
My dad (who will always be THE best coach ever in my mind) never allowed his players to pitch a curve ball until they were between 16 and 18.
Coop was throwing that circle change like a boss!
We spent the evening sitting outside, watching the boys play wiffle ball.
Burke put Kehlani's balance bike together for her birthday.

Sunday, Colton was home!!!!!!!
We worked out.
Then headed to Burke's.
We grabbed the last minute things for the party then headed to Pleasant Grove.
Before we got to Isis's parents' house, he showed all of us the old Smith farm land in American Fork.
It reminded me of the Robb farm land in Cowley, Wyoming.
Then we went to Isis's parents' home.

I have never in my lifetime felt so indebted to people.
The party that they put on for Kehlani and I was unforgettable.
The amount of food.
The decorations.
The cakes.
The amount of time this had to have taken them!!!
Spicy sausage
Carne Asada
Grilled onions
Salad
Fruit
Rice

Dessert:
Tres Leche
Watermelon
Corn on the Cob

Sodas

Decorations
Pools - swimming fun

Kehlani loved all of it!
She is SO loved.
She dove right into the cake and then proceeded to get it all over Gigi!
He loved all of the attention from all of the boys!
She took Burke on lots of walks!
She loves playing in the water!
She is literal life!

Last night, we ended the weekend with a fire in the backyard.
Hot dogs, s'mores, music, races, and laughter.

Until next year!
