Missionary Moment - Puerto Rico San Juan & Dominican Republic Santo Domingo West

And we're back! How's the stuff? How are your families? Your situations? I've given many invitations in the past...any of you had the chance to go through with them?

This week was certainly a ride! I had the great pleasure of finishing up my 3 short transfers in La Piña de Los Alcorrizos in Juana Saltitopa with Elder Knight who'll be taking over the area for now, teaching the beauty of it to many more missionaries to come,  that area is definitely my baby based off how much work I pushed there to make it shine!

But my work now is needed in Hatillo, San Cristobal with Elder Tady (Taudy) who is fresh out of training is is shining much brighter than i did out of training, his Spanish is great, he can understand better than I and he has this area on lockdown doing much work to make the small branch here a ward.

I will definitely say that this change was difficult for me and it definitely has me a bit more homesick than usual but when there's work,  there's no desire to stop working, especially in this type of work! Everytime I go out and teach someone the restoration of the gospel or the plan of Salvation its gets me so excited to do the same again the next day, getting to the point of acceptance is another thing but we only go forward around here even if it's really hard.

I'll tell you what is hard, speaking English. We have this guy that's living here in this country but his mother is Haitian so he speaks Creole and English, so we ended up teaching in English and i just couldn't for the life of me and for the rest of the day i struggled with it and just started speaking in Spanish because of how much more comfortable it felt! Weird huh?

Know what else is funny? I totally got the flu like 2 days in getting here, and have been clinging to bed in the mornings and trekking out with a prayer making sure all commitments are made, yes, I still went out to teach, I'm not a monster!  :)

This new area of mine is super pretty, kinda smells all the time because of all the trash they burn but its pretty nonetheless and I'm excited to get pictures out soon but other than all that not too much to report except for my Mothers birthday that was this last Saturday! And my Brother and New sister's wedding this coming Saturday! Well Wishes Jackson and Isis!!

I love you all so much!
