Missionary Moment - Puerto Rico San Juan & Dominican Republic Santiago West

What a weird week! I'm not sure whether to walk away from it as a success or a complete fracaso (complete failure). The only success I felt we walked away with was our church attendance compared to last week. Going from 3 of our friends to 11.

I'll be honest with you all, it's only my first full week here in this area and everything about this area just kinda screams inconvenience. Especially the people we teach, which consists of children and middle aged women who aren't very friendly with castity. Yikes. You know what that means. I'm back to my professions as wedding planner. But everyone else in the area just kinda prefer to waste their lives away having as much fun as life would permit, drinking a ton and going back to dressing super cute just to sit at some Colmado and drink some more.

Glorious.

We also have a family that we're teaching that consists of a 20 year old kid, and his wife that just so happens to be 13 (uh oh) and an old lady that always thinks we're policeman there to take her grandchild who is disabled from the waist down and who was also abandoned by his mother who is now in Spain.

Also glorious.

All in all a good week. I need prayers, prayers to help me speak and understand by the power of the spirit that I may be the convincing word of God unto men (women and children).

Shout out to all you Fathers out there! I sure am grateful for my Father and all that he has done for me! Shout out to Jackson and Isis, from what I saw it was a beautiful wedding! Isis welcome to the Family!!

Also shout out to my trainer Elder Nelson! Yeah I'm pretty sure he dies from the mission this week!!

I hope each of you had a great week! I love and pray for each of you everyday!

 Yours truly Elder Jorgensen
