Friday Favorites - Lip Plumper!!!

This bundle of goodness arrived on Tuesday. I texted Miss T on Friday or Saturday or Sunday (can't remember) and told her that I needed more eye brow gel, eye liner, and that I always love mascara! She replied that it would all be arriving the next day. She kind of knows how I roll! When I opened the box, I had two new surprises - eyelash serum & epic mascara AND lip plumper. O to the M to the G!!!!

First of all, I have loved every single mascara option Younique has had. Love it. Remember, I used to pull my eyelashes out... I don't anymore! LOVE! But, this eyelash serum and epic mascara... YOU WANT THIS IN YOUR STOCKING. You're welcome.

Second of all, lip plumper. I have never worn lip stick or lip gloss. They feel really uncomfortable to me. I don't wear that much makeup to begin with. I definitely re-apply chap stick all day long, but no lip stick. This lip plumper is the bomb dot com. Ladies... put it on your Christmas list NOW.

Friday Favorites - Eye Shadow

Girls - and guys - (no judgement zone here!) this is my eye shadow. I use Palette One from Younique. I have used this palette for almost a year! This same palette! And, look how much is still left! I love all of the mixes and matches that I can do, which is why it's the only palette I use. It doesn't rub off or get crackly. It doesn't fade. It stays on the whole day long and makes me feel like I am presentable in public! I LOVE this stuff!!!

Those Girls

These little beauties came to see me again! I cannot get enough of them! They even sang, "Gethsemane" for me. They really are perfection. They might have eaten my chap stick. And the donuts and some candy.. but they love their Heidi!!

Thankful! - Miss T

This beautiful woman is such a lovely woman on the inside and out. She is an extraordinary mum. Her children are beautiful beyond words. She is full of light. She is a homemaker, a wife, a mum, and a business owner. She runs her own Younique business. She sends me makeup. My self esteem has actually been increased by her, her words of encouragement, and how I feel with this makeup. Now, don't get me wrong -- I am fine with going out and about with zero makeup on, but when I wear the Younique products, I feel beautiful and confident.

I am so grateful for beautiful, strong women in my life who lift me up when I am down. Miss T is one of a handful of those women and I cannot imagine doing life without her.

A Surprise Visit

Miss T, who lives in Saratoga Springs!, surprised me on Thursday. She messaged me in the morning and asked if my family liked bottled fruit. I responded that we loved it. Then nothing until around noon, when she messaged me asking when my lunch was. She then told me not to leave because she would be at my office soon! Squeeeeeee! I was so excited to see her and her beauties.

When she got there, she had to run to the restroom. And my run, I mean sprint! I stood outside with her four beauties who were in the van. Miss T's youngest is Miss Victoria:

Seriously, People. Can you even stand the cuteness of her?! She loves to say, "cheeeeeeeeeeese." I wanted to keep her. Miss Jessica is all kinds of sass. I told her she was my best friend! Miss Anastasia is so grown up and calm. Mr. Seth is very serious, very courteous. and very handsome.

I was SO in love with having her come to see me. AND, she brought gifts. Bottled fruit, more 3D mascara and eye liner, ingredients for our special back-to-school-feast, taking place tonight, medicine for my sore back, and hugs.

Friday's Favorite Things

I am going to post about some of my favorite things on Fridays for a while. Seems like a fun idea!

Today, I am posting about makeup. I am not a makeup kind of girl. I used to be! When I was in junior high and high school, I used to wear foundation, powder (different colors of each of course), then more foundation and more powder. It was not a good look, but the acne sure loved it! Nowadays, I just wear eye shadow, blush, and mascara. Well, for quite some time I have pulled out my eye lashes - like pulled them ALL out. It's a nervous/anxious/depressed/stressed out thing that I do and it's painful and it looks terrible. It is something that makes me so self-conscious.

Recently, Sweet Miss T sent me some Younique 3D mascara. YES to the YES PLEASE! This stuff is absolutely amazing.

First of all, it makes my lashes look amazing. Secondly, I no longer pull my eye lashes out. It has made me feel so much better about my appearance. I also LOVE the eyeliner. Eyeliner is something else I have NEVER used. I love it. Love it.
