Robb Family Barbeque

Last weekend, we had a super fun barbeque at Papa and Grandma's house! Josh grilled up some amazing food and we were surrounded by family. Just Uncle Ryan and Brooklyn were missing. Love this family of mine!

Nana's Wedding

On Saturday, Nana got married. Our favorite part was that Uncle and Auntie were there. Uncle just about burst into tears when we left. We need to go down and visit them SOON! Uncle and Josh are hysterical! We are so glad that Nana is happy and wish her a lifetime of more happiness!

Toothless

Little Miss lost her first tooth last Tuesday night. It was high drama, but it happened! It's been loose for quite some time and during dinner, something snagged it. It was laying almost flat and it was causing a lot of pain. She was screaming for approximately one hour, four minutes, and 25 seconds (but who was counting?!?!). We kept telling her that we needed to get it out so that it would stop hurting. Finally, she let Braxton snag that thing right out. The screaming stopped immediately and she was SO proud! Braxton is the best brother... seriously. He gave her $1 for being brave AND the tooth fairy came with four quarters! Lucky, lucky girl!

One-on-ones

My parents take each grandchild on a one-on-one each month. It was Kaydon's turn on Saturday. He has been SO excited, and has had it all planned out for quite some time. The grandchild gets to choose where they go. It has to be an activity... like, they don't get to go to the toy store to pick out a toy. That's not an activity! They get to eat somewhere and do an activity. Kaydon chose to go to Antelope Island, and since it's pretty much our backyard, it was perfect! Plus, Grandma and Papa had never been there!

It's My Birthday

My birthday is always my favorite day of the year. I LOVE that I have a birthday and that we celebrate it. It's the coolest thing ever. I might have text Josh, "It's my birthday" 129 times yesterday. I might have told my boss "It's my birthday" 127 times yesterday. My kids called and sang to me. Then, Brooklyn went on to tell me that it was time for me to come home (it was 10 am), that she grounded Colton from the tv and his bike, and that she was in charge. Cute Paula bought me a breakfast muffin for my birthday. AND... my co-workers bought me a pinata. Okay, I have ALWAYS wanted a pinata. Always. I talk about them all of the time. Anytime there is something to celebrate at work, I ask my boss if I can get a pinata. I GOT ONE on my birthday! I was like a two year old. Seriously. The whole office went outside with me and hung my dream come true from a tree branch. I swung and swung and broke that thing open! It was the best day of my life!!! Then, our basement flooded on my birthday night, but let's just remember the positive!

"That's William Penn to You"

This morning, I got to go to Kaydon's class this morning. He had to do his Colony Presentation. He wanted me there. I wanted to be there! When his teacher introduced him, she said, "Kaydon Jorgensen is ready to present." He said, "Um, that's William Penn to you." My kid is rad. This kid, who could barely read last year (in fourth grade), stood up there and read like a high schooler! I could not be more proud of him. He has come SO far! He isn't too fond of human beings, but he loves his mama. He rocked his presentation!

Babies!!

Sometimes I wonder if I really, fully enjoyed every moment of my babies when they WERE babies. Now, they're taller than me! Things were really chaotic when they were little. I had a double stroller. It carried Braxton and Kaydon. I had a backpack, which toted Colton. I had Jackson, who held tight to my shirt or pants. I had a medical pole, which I pushed with my right hand, which I pushed the stroller with my left. I made it through those times, but I am not sure if I really fully enjoyed them and embraced them. Sometimes I feel like I just endured them... I just made it through. A co-worker had twins in December. I love these babies. I love my own babies, too. But, I love just holding these babies and making them smile and laugh, cuddling with them, bouncing them, talking to them, smelling them... you get the picture. They came to visit yesterday. I ate it up!
