Need Caffeine Stat

I live in Utah.
I don't need to be reminded of that.
I know that, People.

It snows in Utah.
I don't need to be reminded of that.
I know that, People.

I am not a fan of snow, People.
I literally despise driving in the snow.
It's been snowing a lot in Utah over the last couple of weeks.

I am also not a fan of being yelled at and literally verbally abused by residents when it snows.
It's been snowing a lot in Utah over the last couple of weeks, therefore people feel it necessary to call and scream at us about plow drivers.

I need caffeine.
A lot of caffeine.

Please

'Tis the season for snow storms.
Apparently, also 'tis the season for snow squalls.
These are come straight from Hell, pretty sure.
Monday night, I left work 15 minutes early as to avoid dying in said snow squall.
Braxton stayed on facetime with me, talking me through every movement until I got home.
He's the best.

And then there's this one.
I said Please-ish!

Missionary Moment - Puerto Rico San Juan Mission / Dominican Republic Santo Domingo West Mission

My Kings and Queens! How are you all?? Before anything, I wanted to remind you all that you can send me your emails anytime during the week! I can read them but I won't be able to reply usually until today, but also I technically only have about 6 minutes to write this email so lets get this party started.

First and foremost, pertaining to all your emails, I am receiving them, and just a shoutout to all of you, I love and thank each and everyone of your advice and love you share with me. Missions aren't easy and your emails bring me so much joy.

Second, my improvement is getting there. Like I said before, missions are very difficult, don't let anyone tell you differently. My biggest issue as of now is probably the Spanish. I can teach with the spirit so that people can understand, it's the listening part that i'm learning more about every day. I'm grateful for Elder Nelson and his patience with me and all of these Puerto Ricans that are really supportive to help anyone giving their effort trying to learn how they operate. Everywhere spanish-speaking is different, and if i end up going to the DR my next transfer here in a couple of weeks it'll definitely be interesting to see how they speak it differently, and then that will be a whole new challenge, but there is no doubt that Heavenly Father has supported me and has shown me his hand in my life every single day. He never sleeps, nor slumbers, he loves me, and he loves each of you. He did not turn his face from you when you were at your lowest point.

Last update before I go is that I invited this sweet guy to baptism and he said yes, so we are hoping to get that done at the end of March! He has an issue with his legs and we promised that if he continued to prepare for baptism he would be healed by that time. And yes, I believe that with all my heart.

Gracias todos! Tambien te amo muchos!!

Christmas Stuff

It was a quiet Christmas for this mama.
Jackson, Isis and Kehlani started some new traditions of their own.
That included making tamales with her family and opening presents at 12:01 AM with this baby girl.
I am so grateful that Isis sends this Gigi pictures and videos so much!!

Braxton and Mia had sleepovers with Colton on Christmas Eve and Christmas night.
Colton has really been missing his brothers. A lot.
He had the best time with them.
They played lots of games, he said!

Kaydon called me.
Sweet, sweet boy.
The bishop of his branch sent me this picture from Christmas Day.

Yesterday, I went and loved on the babes.
They got a blow-up bouncy house from Santa and they LOVE it!!
They jumped and jumped.
Daddy threw them and threw them.
They were SO happy.

I spent Christmas Eve, into Christmas, fighting crime with Baby Daddy.
I was sad about how busy it was!
Families who don't get along probably shouldn't get together for family functions!
And they really shouldn't mix alcohol with it!!
That was probably the last ride-along for this mama because BD's schedule is changing back to days.

I am so grateful for:
Jackson and Colton giving me the Sacrament yesterday.
Braxton and Mia being so good with Colton.
Talking football with my Brax.
Kaydon's sweet spirit and humble heart.
Finally being in a healthy space and being able to spiritually walk Kaydon through hard things.
Colton's 8-second hugs!!
T's Christmas gift!!!!
Becky Beck turning 50.
Having a slurpee on Christmas morning while the officers cracked themselves up with stories.
Dr. Pepper Zero.
The gym.
Hugs from Anson and Asher!
Asher kissing my finger!
Cards from friends and family.

Updates

I remember SO vividly when these boys of mine were tiny, hard to keep track of, all over the dang place, eating SO much food, going through SO many diapers...
And now, here we are...

Jackson is living in Sandy and working for RoofTek.
He is a project manager, but during the summer has been working in different areas of the company.
He really, really enjoys it.
Jackson has a cat named Bella.

Jackson is dating Isis.
They've known each other since junior high school.
Isis has an 18 month old daughter, Kehlani.
Isis is going to Beauty School and working.

Braxton and Mia live in Brigham City.
Braxton is still a plumbing apprentice.
He is really enjoys it.
Mia works at an animal clinic in Parry.
They have a cat named Suki.

Kaydon is serving in Puerto Rico right now.
Once he gets his Visa, he will go to the Dominican Republic.
Kaydon was born to serve a mission.
He is liking it.
They are working with 17 people right now!!

Colton is a senior in high school.
This amazing boy is going to graduate high school with a diploma, something we never thought would be possible.
He works at Hungry Howie's as a shift leader and really likes it.
He is missing his brothers A LOT.
He is able to get on and play games with Braxton and Jackson, though, and that helps!

I am the best I've ever been.
I have been in active recovery for a year and a half tomorrow.
Work is busy, as usual.
I am moving into the Young Women's program slowly (our ward had to cancel everything the week our presidency was called due to Covid).
I am still selling makeup and skin care and CBD.
I am also busy working on podcasts, mini courses and coaching for process addicts.

Gigi time is the best time.
This baby brings SO much magic.

I am SO grateful for this family of mine.
I'm grateful for my testimony of our Heavenly Parents and of our Savior.
I am thankful for a place to live, food, clothes, hot water...
I am thankful for co-workers who are family.
I am thankful for my friends who are our family.
I am beyond proud of these boys of mine.
