Missionary Moment - Puerto Rico San Juan Mission / Dominican Republic Santo Domingo West Mission

My Kings and Queens! How are you all?? Before anything, I wanted to remind you all that you can send me your emails anytime during the week! I can read them but I won't be able to reply usually until today, but also I technically only have about 6 minutes to write this email so lets get this party started.

First and foremost, pertaining to all your emails, I am receiving them, and just a shoutout to all of you, I love and thank each and everyone of your advice and love you share with me. Missions aren't easy and your emails bring me so much joy.

Second, my improvement is getting there. Like I said before, missions are very difficult, don't let anyone tell you differently. My biggest issue as of now is probably the Spanish. I can teach with the spirit so that people can understand, it's the listening part that i'm learning more about every day. I'm grateful for Elder Nelson and his patience with me and all of these Puerto Ricans that are really supportive to help anyone giving their effort trying to learn how they operate. Everywhere spanish-speaking is different, and if i end up going to the DR my next transfer here in a couple of weeks it'll definitely be interesting to see how they speak it differently, and then that will be a whole new challenge, but there is no doubt that Heavenly Father has supported me and has shown me his hand in my life every single day. He never sleeps, nor slumbers, he loves me, and he loves each of you. He did not turn his face from you when you were at your lowest point.

Last update before I go is that I invited this sweet guy to baptism and he said yes, so we are hoping to get that done at the end of March! He has an issue with his legs and we promised that if he continued to prepare for baptism he would be healed by that time. And yes, I believe that with all my heart.

Gracias todos! Tambien te amo muchos!!
